Welcome
to
HMM-Online
The free
web-based viewer for the Helium Music Manager
Introduction
HMM-Online is
a free web frontend to the Helium Music Manager.
HMM uses a Microsoft Access Database or, as an option, with the
beginning of release 2006 a Microsoft MSDE/SQL Server database to
store the data. HMM-Online presents the main data from this databases in an operating system independent web frontend. HMM-Online
works best with the MSDE/SQL Server database.
News
- 06.02.2006: First release of HMM-Online introduced.
Screenshots
Main window:
The
starting point of HMM-Online. It starts with a genre overview.
Track details: The relevant data is shown in a seperat window.
Search: Search your library for artists, albums, etc.
Integrity checks: If you are using the MSDE/SQL Server database HMM-Online
gives you many different integrity checks (e.g. do you matching artists
written with and without 'The ', do you have albums written with and
without 'A ', ...).
Requirements
HMM-Online
is written in Perl entirely. So it will run on almost every Operating
System Platform where Perl is available for. HMM-Online
requires several Perl modules available on CPAN:
Most of these Perl modules may already exist on your system because
they are part of several Perl distributions. Read the INSTALL file to
learn how to install those required CPAN modules.
HMM-Online
needs a Web Server to run.
